PLR vs Product Creation
Hi,
Alan Abelove here from IMAlanAbelove.
I had a give and take over the last couple of days with one of my subscribers on the subject of PLR vs Product Creation.
Both have their strengths and their weaknesses, and both are important. I certainly use PLR content, for example on my Skills site (alanabelove.com/skills/).
But my opinion is that if you want to reach online greatness, meaning more than just $100 here and $100 there, then you have to enter the world of Product Creation.
All of the people, gurus and otherwise, who are making yearly incomes of 100K and up into the millions, all have their own products that they created and sell for themselves and have others sell for them.
Let me say that again:
All of the people, gurus and otherwise, who are making yearly incomes of 100K and up into the millions, all have their own products that they created and sell for themselves and have others sell for them.
If you aren't armed with your own product or products, then even your affiliate marketing will not be able to stand on its own.
If you have heard a lot of negativity about the idea of creating your own product, that is probably because PLR is very popular now, and the mantra of PLR selling goes like this:
"To create your own product, if you are an average Joe, then it is probably going to cost you like $20,000 to create, it'll take you around 10 years, and by the time you're done your product won't be relevant anymore, because the market changes faster than that. So purchase for yourself today for only twelve dollars a done-for-you package that all you have to do is put your name on it and you can sell it as your own."
Now, there are two lies in the above pitch:
1) To be successful with buying and selling PLR products, you really do have to invest the energy and to be creative in order to adapt the PLR into something different, and not just sell it like you received it. Besides, 8 or 9 out of 10 PLR products are junk the way they start out, unless you develop it into something else, something bigger.
2) You don't need to be an average Joe! If you have a guide, if you have a plan, if you have a list of steps broken up into bite size pieces, then you will certainly be able to create your own digital product. It'll probably take you around one year (part-time), and will cost you around $500.
I want you to listen to a webinar given by John Thornhill, the king of Product Creation teaching. He will explain to you, for no cost, about what it takes, what you have to do, in order to create your own product. What steps are involved and the mind-set that you need to have.
The content is golden, and if I remember correctly, there is a super-valuable giveaway just for showing up to the webinar.
But I want to be up front: You know and I know that there is no webinar without something being offered towards the end. What John will offer you is a discounted price to get into his course, Partnership to Success.
But I am OK with that. I know this course, I took this course, I recommend this course. But my interest as your guide is that you break the ice and get used to the idea that Product Creation is not beyond your abilities, doesn't need to be beyond your plans. That is what I want you to get from the webinar.

I really hope that you sign up for this and view the webinar. For your sake. I know that it is not easy to talk people into the idea of creating their own product when they have already been brainwashed by the PLR people that Product Creation is not for them.
Take care,
Alan Abelove
PS If, at the end of the day, you are more of a lover of PLR, then there is a monster of a launch going on right now by Dan Sumner and Dave Nicholson, two people that I work with personally. This is a massive PLR collection which is going for pennies on the dollar, great content, and easily adaptable. I have this product, (I bought it the last time they launched it), I use this collection, and I highly recommend it. Click here:

There is an additional 20% if purchased within the next 10 hours "in honor of" Halloween.
